Let’s meet Carmela, our Striper and talented artist from Napoli.
Among her many hobbies, digital drawing is by far what she’s most passionate about. Carmela loves to draw and create digital illustrations.
The idea of launching a brand of socks featuring her art has been growing for a while now. “My business has yet to be active, but I have a clear vision and drafts of the work. I collect socks, and as a big fan of unique designs, I decided to create my own to bring my ideas to life and share them,” she says.
Carmela is mainly driven by her emotions, mood, and urge to create. But she also draws her inspiration from young artists and people willing to take a chance and follow their dreams. From her previous experience of launching a small business, Carmela found the greatest satisfaction in reading the positive reviews her customers were giving, acknowledging her passion and commitment. In a word, Carmela describes her entrepreneurship style as engaging.
When it comes to trends, for 2023, Carmela foresees minimalism, abstract art, and vibrant colors. “I love to complete looks with colorful details to make the fit even more personal,” she adds.
Heading to Paris, our Striper Yann is telling us everything about his journey from studying remotely during the pandemic to making his own music.
Yann has invested all his time, energy, and resources in launching «YPSI» with six songs on different music and video platforms like YouTube. “My musical world is a mixture of introspection, ego trip, love, and determination to get to the top,” he says. Music has always been a big part of Yann’s life. Today, his main goals are, first, to be globally recognized – hopefully collaborate with Dave Santan in London and many other artists 😁– and, second, to elevate his streetwear brand « BIA » @mybiastore.
“By listening to music, witnessing how the world evolves around it, and feeling myself maturing, I decided to no longer keep my writing confined to my room but to start sharing my thoughts, lyrics, and vibes with the whole world,” Yann shares.
As an entrepreneur, Yann finds it challenging to balance his art and job as a Striper. But seeing his music online represents his biggest reward, considering all the efforts it took him to make it happen.
“Determination” is the word that best describes our Striper’s entrepreneurship style. For him, life leaves no room for regret.
